The work

No two alike. By design.

These three studies are honest fictions: concept businesses, built to our full production standard, so you can judge the craft before a single real client existed. Each one is labeled a concept — and each will be retired the day a real project replaces it.

Meintjies Plumbing

Context

A fictional second-generation Roodepoort plumber: forty years of trust, hundreds of word-of-mouth customers, and no website at all. Its imagined reviews all say the same two things — they came the same day, and they charged what they quoted.

Approach

Those two praises became the whole site: a same-day promise as the headline, the call button within thumb’s reach at every scroll depth, pricing honesty as a section of its own. Deep navy and copper — pipes and workwear, not corporate blue.

Outcome

A one-hand, one-thumb mobile experience: tap to call, tap to WhatsApp, geyser emergency path above the fold. Built and QA’d to the same checklist as every Weaver site — Lighthouse 90+, WCAG AA, three breakpoints.

Sentinel Response

Context

A fictional neighbourhood armed-response firm in Pretoria East. Security is a trust purchase made under stress — yet small firms in this space typically present with a Facebook page and a Gmail address.

Approach

Trust rendered structurally: a measured, grid-locked layout; one number — median response time — given the hero; certifications, coverage map and controller photos where testimonials would usually be. Charcoal and signal amber, high contrast by intent.

Outcome

A site that reads like a control room: calm, precise, verifiable. Quote request in three fields. Every claim on the page is one a real firm could substantiate — the concept refuses invented awards or badges.

Aandbloem Guesthouse

Context

A fictional Dullstroom guesthouse with imagined five-star reviews — and every booking arriving through platforms that take fifteen percent. The commission maths is the story: direct bookings are found money.

Approach

Dusk plum and blush — the hour guests actually remember. The imagined guest praise (“quiet”, “the fireplace”, “breakfast”) becomes the room descriptions. One button everywhere: Book direct.

Outcome

An unhurried, image-led scroll that sells the evening, not the amenities list — with the booking enquiry two taps from any point on the page. Same craft floor, same QA checklist, different soul entirely.

Your turn

The fourth site here should be yours.

Every study above took the full Weaver treatment: colours from the client’s world, headlines from their customers’ own words, and a QA gate no site skips.
